Very soon is the Delectable's Birthday, I'm not really sure about the exactly date because that moment I'm still not yet discover it XD but I know is April...maybe really 2nd? XD

Since I'm one of the fan of Delectable, of course I won't go with empty hand...most probably also won't back with empty hand,LOL... it seem they will launch new product on that day, will discover soon ^.^

So thinking of the gift for it, I guess the greeting card is the best choice for me...cheap and
"full of sincerity" with my own D.I.Y. as I can't afford any hamper or whatever that cost me $$$... XD

While scratching the head to get idea...there's a box at the table...I look at it and it seem passes me a message: USE ME.

Dang dang~ the idea has comes XD Lets me "return your own property to you on your birthday"

Recently there's a movie, Alice in the Wonderland, and Su made a Alice in the Candyland and

When I saw this author, Stehpen King...I decide to buy it XD read one of his book before which is really great. The famous author of contemporary horror,sci-fiction and fantasy fiction~

Last time go genting was about 1-2years ago with the malatlou gang now feel so miss that moment seeing they all 4 sleep in a single bed

Sat go to Genting watch concert~3GoodMen~ Due to arrive earlier to avoid traffic jam...finally has chance pay a visit to Casino de Genting

The most happiest thing also not the casino or the concert but the moment get rid of the superior hot weather of KL~~ go up blow blow wind

Spend about 2 hours follow my sister walking around the casino...

The first impression: As complicate as Photoshop CS4,lol...those colorful chips... ...those different kind game's tables Even the blackjack table also need spend quite amount of time to discover their rules how to play =.= not suitable for me to play... min bet RM50

still the most classic slogan of players appear in casino also XD "Picture, picture!"

another game, similar like baccarat? which has players n banker to bet...very hard to understand for me XD watch liao half an hour still don't know how to play.. and the min bet is RM50 XD saw ppl donate 1k within 5 minutes to uncle lim

got poker also~ those game usually min bet RM50~

the dice game seem to be easiest to understand for beginner and also affordable for everyone since the min bet is only RM10

yet the roulette seem very "nice" to see the dealer clear all those chips at once,haha...one of the most risky game

Casino slots(cantonese called "lou fu gei")...can see everywhere~has the lowest min bet(RM0.60) but not easy to win as it look XD

finally found game suitable for me~~ wheel of money...those easy game with the spinning big wheel
watch awhile only decide try it XD

but I found that the gambling in chip form kinda evil for me...becoz when the RM in chip form...it kinda juz like toy...I won't feel like betting 5bucks in it...unlike we gambling like normal with the real cash u can see the RM5

after sitting the for about 20minutes, finally won 20bucks, fast fast move on to go dinner before those chip back to dealer

there are some awesome way to gamble also, eg: a few row of seats(can have around 100ppls at a time) with a machine table to place bet in front roulette which has 2 big tv screen show it on top...look like have conference/meeting,lol

基本上觉得这场演唱会少了些“热爆”的感觉因为全部都坐着，除了接近尾声才有一小段时间High翻天。可能是出于“唱情歌”的关系吧~

张宇- 样子还是一样，一看就人得出了。时不时“恶搞”陈昇和品源~~

品源- 觉得是比较不会搞笑的歌手，认真下有一段蛮搞笑的

大概内容：
个人演唱时:

演唱完后有位女歌迷送花,
品源:"由于这场演唱会不是我一个人的,还有昇哥和宇哥,等下记得关掉灯牌(那些有LED的牌子,写着黄品源的)..."
接着说:"不是我怕他们吃醋,是怕等下我出来(再次出场)时没有电了"

陈昇- 可以说是娱乐全场最多次的那位。。就比如“干冰故事”。。

大概内容：

陈昇：“啊，你们看，连云都飘进来了。。。”
张宇：“不是啦，那时干冰放出来的~！”
陈昇：“哇，那林梧桐为我们准备得真周到。。我早上起来拉开窗帘，窗外全是干冰~~”

此时，品源和张宇与陈昇拉开一段距离

可能现场看才觉得好笑

陈昇，也算是最"gay"的那个。。一直与张宇gay来gay去有跳钢管（mic stand）舞~

还有一些笑话,比如:
-黄品源,张宇,陈昇:"你们看,才两岁就来看我们的演唱会,证明他的家庭教育很成功"

-黄品源:"你们来看我们这场演唱会证明你们有眼光,不过呢..如果你们来看我的个人演唱会就更有眼光"

And spray here spray there night continue with lami...which killing me...1 for RM1...heavy injuried...within 2 hours...

Nice match name~ basically the taste of sauteed button mushroom is overcover the taste of beef pasties. Shall get the beef pasties cook medium rare, medium well is a bit dry for me, still it is consider juciy =]

Mash Potatoes with Black Pepper Gravy

Weiko recommended~ it is so true, the gravy is very nice together with the mash potatoes, money valued.

Another version of mash potatoes, I would say it will be very nice with the black pepper gravy! This is nice also but juz a bit dry for me =]

Molten Lava Cake

Hope for more "lava" will be more yummy~

† Steamed Prawn w Red Wine Reduction Sauce Garnished w Asparagus n Capsicum †

Chinese New Year, nothing to do at all~~ decide try something new~~

With the red wine and big prawn, first method come into my mind...red wine reduction~

Quickly defrosted the prawn, still wondering it is king prawn or jumbo size prawn... XD

chopped the onions(suppose use shallots), get some carrot~ New Year, not hard to get chicken stock ^.^

Sauteed with my favorite herb,bay leaves, then add in the mix stock with red wine, medium heat reduce it to about 1/4~

The steamed prawn really juicy...juz open the steamer...can smell it edi XD

This kind of thing always boost the flavor of a dish~!

After 1 hour...finally can enjoy it XD

Newbie still learning the way to cook fine-dining style dish XD~~ The sauce really taste heavy, maybe put too much red wine,lol. btw, come serve with the prawn together, it just reach the balance point as the prawn isn't get seasoning before steam =]

This restaurant is quite unique that you can find in KL. It is a furniture showroom, known as iHaus combine with the restaurant, Max! Kitchen & Wines(Original MunchHaus), it is a double-storey Bungalow~~ with a large parking area =] It is located at a very hidden area, behind Noble House, off Jalan Bukit Bintang.

This meal was the "Best Value Lunch"(RM25) I ever have so far. The set lunch is available during weekdays. Set include 1 Appetizer, 1 Main Course. Hehe, forget to say, it also include complimentary Iced Lemon Tea and Bread. Optional with Dessert(RM14) and Illy Coffee/Flavored Teas(8).

Cauliflower Cream Soup Garnished with Chicken Ham

The last piece of soft bread... I dipped it in the hot soup...seeing the steam coming from the soup...feel so hunger for food now XD yea, it much tastier than serve with honey olive oil balsamic vinaigrette(if not mistaken), yummy yummy!

Here come the main course, I rarely serve beef or lamb, fish always my first choice for western foods, I love fishes~~

Pan Seared Market Fish Fillet with Tarragon Cream Sauce on Sauteed Potatoes

Portion is not too big or small, a fish fillet cut into 2 pieces stacked on potatoes with some sauteed diced capsicums(this smell good) on top. Don't have high expectation on "Market Fish Fillet". Indeed, I think the sauce is better than the fish fillet itself XD. The fish fillet has the "fish skin smell" ,but not the fishy smell...don't get it wrong. Overall, it is a satisfy main course for me.

Iced Lemon Tea

It seem not a regular ILT you have at outside restaurant. The first sip in my mouth, my sense tell me: It is homemade ILT because the tea flavor is a bit heavier =] loving it even though it juz ILT.

I'm glad I have decided to go for their dessert...such kind of dessert, very hard can get it at regular restaurant.

Panna Cotta with Rum Macerated Fresh Fruits and Champagne Sorbet

Whats attract me?The "Champagne Sorbet"...lol, I never see and thought of such combination of simply refreshing clear taste dessert.

Before the dessert landed on the table, I'm already can smell it, the great aroma from the fresh fruits.

lol, pure fruits with rum macerated, it much taste different now, much delectable...feel not enough for those fruits~! The panna cotta is quite different with the one I ate Sagano, Sagano's texture like jelly with marble shining surface. Max's is juz like traditional version, but the taste make me feel weird, I can't tell exactly what the flavor is(Since eating it, start thinking this question, until I finished it, still can't get the answer). I'm also curious about the topping sauce...same question for me :$ Its taste good :D Stun awhile having the first bite of the sorbet,haha...oh...It taste like Casberlg but indeed it much smoother meanwhile melting in the mouth~~ that's I describe it with "simply, refreshing, clear taste" dessert! The whole dessert can describe with one word: Refreshing. A thumb up mouthwash dessert.

Surely will go back when has chance...

Used to be celebrate with whole big gang of friends? Not for me, the biggest gang to celebrate with?

Last years, 02/02/2009 with 4 guys at Delicious. Well, that one really nice experience and great memory. Either the foods or the friends =] Really thank you u all for that ^.^

I not used to squeeze myself into crowd XD this year decide celebrate with it...coffee.

Coffee...since standard 2/3 like that edi "touch" it, every weekend~Typica juz recall my old childhood memory: How do you serve coffee

Yea, with that coffee plate. Pour the hot coffee from the cup to the plate and letting it cold faster~! And carefully hold the plate, sip it =]

Recently the day also didn't drop even a drop of rain. But today...out of my expectation.

Around 3pm reached Pudu, the sky is raining, quite heavy, lucky I always bring my umbrella with me ^.^ On the way heading to Typica, crossing the road, saw an elder Malay woman trying to cross the road also. Due the many cars passing by, we both have to stay on the ground after cross half side. Seeing that old woman didn't brings umbrella, exposing to the rain...with the brain feel suddenly blank, offer her with the umbrella to cross the road. Not sure what kind of feeling of this every time lend a hand to help people...happy?not. sympathy?not. @.@

Thought juz bring her cross the road only then I'll move on since there are a lot of shop lots there, she may reaches home easily or maybe juz expose to rain for juz a few seconds to those small street while not many cars passing there. But it seem like she thought I accompany her along the way to home T.T

2 peoples with that little umbrella under the shower of rain...I have to sacrifice ~75% to cover her instead of myself...ORZ weird that I do it without any beef (not meat,ok? :rf: ) mission accomplished...continue heading to Typica~

the moment I reached, saw another guys also walking into Typica, my first thought in my mind: Is he that guy who post on Typica page said going to eat tom yam and ride motor for 30km to lowyat buy items and if have time has a visit to Typica?

This moment, the rain temporary stopped as well. Haiz.

Kai Yin thought we both are same gang and asking me if we sit together XD but then after I said not, Mei Ying said:"One bring umbrella, one bring motor helmet... ..." LOL,we laugh with very very low voice XD

The menu is renew with few more type of coffee, like mint coffee and etc. The coffee I plan to try earlier also increase in price,lol but never care about it, I COME FOR IT.

So sad no Strawberry cheese cake...no Tiramisu >.< hehe, try new flavor - Nutty Cheese Cake~ ~

I like the moment when they grind the coffee beans...can smell the nice aroma of coffee beans from afar... Guarantee you can't smell it at Starbucks or CoffeeBean...never!

The fascination of Irish Coffee caught my attention~~~Using a slim tall martini glass instead of the traditional glass, Irish Coffee Mug , it look more elegant, stylish.

The nutty cheese cake...yea...it also has the caramel nuts topping as tiramisu!!

Bring my own candles n lighter XD

After cucuk them softly on the piece of cake...light the candles...suddenly came a voice:"Today ur birthday?" ... lol, I'm got shocked bcoz that moment I was fully concentrate lighting the candle >.<.stunned for awhile and replied yes~

Not surprise while they asked me why so lonely celebrate urself XD it kinda weird "phenomena" in this modern world right? Becoz ppls always celebrate birthday big gang big gang~.

They sang birthday song for me after that, very touch *Expecting won't hear a song of birthday song by today* THANK YOU ALL SINCERELY!

Back to main topic first, saying I plan to celebrate my birthday myself...he said:"This idea not bad, this year want to try." Odd idea instead? XD But this kind of celebration not common XD Having such kind of coffee as drink, such kind of cake dessert, with such kind of peoples, under such kind of ambiance(Inside the cozy coffee shop), with such kind of weather...The feeling is darn great...almost...juz lack one thing(for me): The environment... if the Typica is locates at a small hill of the grassland... this will make me feel PERFECT ENJOYMENT OF LIFE.

The Coffee - Irish Coffee: Unlike last time I drink at other coffee shop, the Typica's Irish Coffee worth 9/10(rating). Coffee with Irish Whisky topped with whipped cream. People who not used to drink black coffee/espresso most probably won't like it because will mainly taste bitter XD but it suits me =] no one will stir the whipped cream(bit sweet in taste) to drink it if plan to serve the Irish Coffee with the Traditional Way. The coffee with the taste of whiskey...awful tasty,LOL

The Nutty Cheesecake: bottom and top layered with sponge cake(lol, we all don't what the flavor of the sponge...very light in taste). Middle with thick layer of cheese filling which has some chocolate shaves hiding inside it XD The texture? Super duper soft, if Secret Recipe worth 5/10, this at least worth 5/10 ^.^

The Peoples: Only 4 peoples in that shop that moment, Kai Yin, Mei Ying, Raymond n me~If you feel boring, sad or want to find someone to chit chat, Typica might be a good place, premise:non busy hour. So usually I choose weekdays after 2pm XD you can chit chat with them...it really won't feel like customer-worker/boss =] They are really friendly, truly~

The Ambiance: Cozy~ cozy...it won't pack like Starbucks!

Most of time, I'm enjoying the coffee and the cake~~reading the book about coffee. Well, this book really nice...all about coffee, the history, the region of coffee, how to roast coffee beans, how to choose, the coffee beans' grade, how to cook coffee, how to serve coffee, types of coffee...bla bla bla

One story caught my attention, it happened in Sweden long long long long long long long long long time ago~ 2 peoples are sentenced to death but commuted to life imprisonment. One of them everyday serve large amount of tea and another one serve large amount coffee. The result is the one who serve tea die earlier than the one who serve coffee XD

btw, my radar always ON XD while reading the book, I'm also listening to their conversations,haha. The Typica handmade cakes are supply from a cake master (knew earlier). Today listen some story about that master...very characteristic like tmr pasar don't hv sell yam, so can't make yam cheesecake...the market's strawberries not nice, so doesn't makes strawberry cheesecake XD haha

After Christmas Day, I have make the Chinese Peanut Soup(花生糊) XD
It is easy but many steps to do, time consuming dessert but low cost =]

Ingredients:
- ~600ml water
- 3tbsp sugar
- 4tsp cornflour
- some rice (soak in water for 30 minutes)

Method:
1. Toast the peanut with medium low heat... you don't want it get burn~

2. After toasted the peanut, let it cold down to room temp...well if want learn the legendary "Iron Palm", can do the following step before the peanut cold down XD
3. Remove the peanut skins as below show~~ fun process.

4. Blend the peanut, rice with water.
5. Sieve it, reserve some dregs if want more thicken texture.

6. Bring to boil over medium heat, keep stirring it.

7. Add sugar and cornflour(dissolve with water before add in). Add peanut dregs if want more thicken soup~
8. It take about 20-30minutes for it become thicken.
9. Serve hot...swallow it =]

* Can add it almond/walnut to blend with peanut also for extra flavor. Make sure the skins also remove.

31/12 midnight... laying on the sofa...around 2.30a.m.... the moment really suck...it never stop until around 5.30a.m....why just keep bothering me without let my brain rest?? I know I'm suck at making decision...yet why in this moment still want me make decision...until yesterday just know the afford put on it all gone in vain...ask Lord...why He doesn't gives me some hints earlier so I can sleep earlier without such headache problems wandering around in my mind...

Original plan to vrooooooom motor strike to Imbi...but don't know what bothering me awhile heading to there, change my mind to take LRT to Hang Tuah instead... after arrive at 12,00pm....look at the sky, says to myself :"Are you ready to walk under the stupid sun "shine" upon you?" Answers, :"Yes, wtf that sun, wish someone can shoot it down." Regret that I have pray for today don't rain...and it come true...haiz....

Sweating...and keep sweating only...

Finally arrive Fukuya by 12.30pm, suddenly feel happy XD tell myself...it worth for that you have walk so far for it......

After step in... 1st thing in my mind :" I like this place because no matter how many customers come to dine in, the place totally won't be crowd!"

The main dining area has around 6 tables only which separate into 3 and 3 some more...

Of course the whole restaurant not only have 6 tables. There are some bigger dining room and private room at the right and left courtyard.

So no matter how many customers come...you won't see like : wow...many peoples XD

This year's Christmas Cards are better than last year. Well, doesn't means that last year's not good, but just this year's improved.

Last year 2008 series:Christmas Cards Year 2008

The amount remain as 10 receivers.

When I thinking who shall I make for...after listing, realize that I can make it 3 groups...therefore these 3 series available after decide the color theme:

After that I decide make an extra Christmas Card for the "unlucky"

After finished the white series, only I start to work on this because it is require a great idea, especially the design.

This series both have their own name for they are unique in this world,LOL.

Good O' Day - Joseph Wee

He is now...now at UK...maybe feel curious about why I still make it for him. For he is my friend, one of the friend who inspired me a lots...a big THANKS. That is the reason I make the card, not because he is a religious Christian who will celebrate the Christmas Day.

The idea of this card is come from a angpau.

I have modify it a little bit with some add on: my own idea which is the Snowman's Head get Rip from Its Head...while the message pop up from the side... well, it is a very very "cold" joke XD but it suit him...haha...winter there?lol

I kinda love the card base. It is not that type of dazzle gold will make your eyes blink when look at it,lol. It is a bit darker golden in color with the glitter effect.

It won't make a good card base with that...why?Because the glitter powder will shed when the hand keep touching it.
But...but...but...I'm genius! I have the way to prevent such thing happen. =] It is my secret weapon: Acrylic Sealer. Although it is quite expensive but it is really worth if really wanna make some good handcraft.

The background picture is nice...like a very very old dairy book...and I use the very very outdated skill: sandalwood(Chinese incense) burn the side. It give even great effect of it...like a historic dairy book?lol.

That's why this card named Good O' Day.
Although he is not at M'sia now but always reminds me the good old memories...eg: convince me go CC?haha... the Handmade Chess Set also a great "invention", haha...do you guys still remember? Carve the chessboard on the table...and the little tiny rocks marked with C,k,B,K,Q,P as chessmen!!! Why we do so?Because we don't need to worry get confiscate, haha. The rocks are not contraband,lol.

The snow is not falling down slowly but more likely like blizzard is coming, hoho.

The part of the card which I hope for more improvement: Front side decoration. It doesn't give me a feel of "Wow" when first time look at it.

Shimmering Bliss - Anna Ong

I never can think of such idea if I don't have watch the movie, District 9. In the movie, there is a part where they running on a bread dough roller. Ding...the idea pop up~~because I feel kind of...don't know how to say...I like watching the conveyor belt rolling...from top to bottom, from bottom to top and continuous.
So think of it...the item can from top "vanish", "appear" from bottom if the item stick of the conveyor belt.
Therefore, I make a double side slider card.

The first problem is what material shall I use for the conveyor belt...I start searching my cupboard...open this open that...mess up...after tired sit in front of the pc...I see the transparent plastic bag beside the pc... oh yea, I can use this, soft and rollable!

After the main problem solve, everything go well...
2 sides, ngam ngam hou ,1 side birthday, 1 side Christmas~

really useful the mulberry paper...given the "bulu-bulu" effect. The first time when I use it, I still don't know the "proper" way, cutting it with scissor...lose the "bulu-bulu" effect :(

When the card is finish...I keep playing with it, lol...it quite nice...just pull the ribbon and the left slide out another card XD Easy to close also, just push left~~

The part of the card which I hope for more improvement: Sometimes it will stuck when close up(push the ribbon side) but it can easily solve by push left side instead(not a problem though).

Maybe the words are pack, not enough pic, images~lol

Exclusive White (Elegance Pearl)

The first series I make it. Glad I have meet them, they are all kind and friendly persons which give me the feel that like : You can chit chat with them~

Original plan to use pure white cardboard but seem too white, decide to use barley pearl color which given some "warm" feeling.

Christmas cards always also those things: Christmas Tree, Christmas Bells, Christmas Ornament, Snowman and etc...Last year I wish to buy some transparent plastic ornament for D.I.Y ornament...just paint it myself...don't have make it in time...so this time I draw it myself,lol.

The ornaments look like spiderweb stick on it @@ now only realize I can make it gloss finish with shining shining effect :( too late...arg...

Stencil picture...hate n love to make it...hate because it is require a lot of time and the position of the brass stencil can't be wrong, else the whole stencil will ruin. Love because the protruding picture is nice, either from sight or touch...both also great~!

The glitter rainbow strip on bottom is old skill~ ~ it will be "perfect" only if work acrylic sealer! Otherwise, the glitter powder surely stick on the hand when touching it.

Rectangular shape is too general...cut out the slim "S" shape make it better view ~.~

The part of the card which I hope for more improvement: Make better "ornaments"!

Normal Red (Charming Ruby)

- Weiko, Chan, MKuan

This series look very normal. But the fact is I can't make the overall balance, I want protrude the Christmas Tree.

The main attraction of this card: Christmas Tree. It is my own new idea who "invent" this idea~! There are uncountable handcraft skills in this world...They sharing the ideas and skills to pass it own... it is good to invent some new skills or techs~

Looking at the tree already feel weird. How come it can merge two colors together in a same line? =]

Basically it is very very easy thing, but only if suddenly come out such idea.

Two things: Gelly Roll pen and Gallery Glass Paint

The gelly roll pen is Japan product, itself already like a "magic" pen even without gallery glass paint. Whatever you write with the pen, it will turn into silver color. It has many color, green, pink, blue, purple..etc. The original color will remain at the outer line...but the color is not really protrude if you don't look carefully~

I try put some gallery glass paint on it...the "magic" happen...the silver color is disappear and regain it original color... So when these two cross each others, it will make great effect and the surface also protrude(gallery glass paint's part)

The part of the card which I hope for more improvement: Overall's design. Although wanna protrude the effect...but the overall's design...I still feel kinda crap :(

Tuesday, I go to KLCC to pass the Christmas card. After that, I go to Kinokuniya...a place I must visit every time go KLCC...free reading, why not? XD I can "borrow" some recipes as well...or maybe can discover some nice recipes, who knows?haha.

I go to the stationery department...looking around...then I see assorted design Christmas cards on the shelves...saw some nice pictures which I can't make it without certain tools or machines. This moment remind the lovely couple doves I draw earlier. Oh yeah, I can use dove as theme of the Christmas card XD.

Hehe, I can draw simple nice cute dove =] draw, liner, cut, color, create stained glass look with glitter effect and finally acrylic seal from prevent it stick to any surface.

Stamping, I like stamping but don't have much stamps~

This part is a bit mess up @.@ put too much glass paint and can't rub it :(

The Making Of...

One of the Superior Useful Handcraft Material:

Can you see how marvelous it is??? But too bad that now FolkArt has stop producing this product...I need use other brands or maybe try new matte finish- Gloss.

The Gelly Roll pen and the Gallery Glass Paint I mentioned:

It has metallic gelly roll pen also which the ink won't turn into silver color and give metallic effect.

Aqualip's pen give the very small protrude effect and a little bit glossy when it dried.

Available at Kinokuniya.

Glass paint, very useful also. Mainly use on glass surface but it work on any paintable paper as well.

Crystal Clear give transparent stained glass look but Snow White doesn't.

LOL, tester is a must before apply anything on the product XD pity them, haha

While waiting the glass paint dry. To add the glitter effect, just add some glitter powder in the glass paint before use.

Dried without acrylic seal, it give stained glass look but it will stick to the item if get restrain by heavy item. So, need to apply a layer of acrylic seal on it to lose it sticky surface(~90%)

After got my items...time to relax...The Gardens Club lounge...have my lunch, 7 Sins of Choco with unlimited refill assorted coffee,lol wahahaha~~ reading magazine...warm my stomach with hot mocha~chill it with 7 Sins of Choco XD~~

The amazing part is the washrooms there...It is totally different with the washrooms I see before at other places...maybe I'm sakai,lol

There are 5 washrooms if no mistaken. The 1st impression already make me feel cool! Each washroom's design is different!

2nd...when I step in...another wow...it is big enough for me to sleep there~~, no worry... the floor is absolutely clean.

Has request to make a cake for the gathering earlier, so I decide to give a try.
Actually quite worry about the sponge cake due to my home's oven is different type with the working place's oven...the sponge cake texture also will be different in result according to the recipe.
At the end I just simply pick up one recipe and just bake it~~ feel damn sleepy...baking at early morning 5am++ but it is fun! =.= and eat whole day till night after that...

For myself, that sponge cake itself , texture and taste just like 鸡蛋糕 =.= but still edible XD
The blueberry flavor are too heavy...covered the fruits flavor. Maybe I shall make blueberry cake instead, haha. Plan to put a cute bunny Jo on top of the cake due to the cake too small...replace with gooseberry.

Thank guys and gals for trying it =] Hope no one get stomachache or food poisoning after eat it ;p

Well, you absolutely feel very hard to find this restaurant if you don't know the existence of this restaurant. You can't even find it at the The Gardens Mall Floor Plan Directory XD Same goes with The Sage.

It is located at 6th Floor of The Gardens Hotel. It is a very quite place....very quite....

I love the open air dining area...it will be so great if rain or gloomy~

This is really good as appetizer~ salty with little bit of sweetness

Plum with tuna n olive~not bad

The fruit salad is so great, crunchy, sweet and light in taste.

It is very common thing but I not really like this kind of post XD

It is because no matter how great they describe the foods...at the end it is A MATTER OF TASTE

Taste is a pure expression and it can be described as an individual's direct translation of aromas, odours and textures into emotion. Of course the most important word of this statement being 'individual'.

An individual will taste, say a bread and butter pudding, by inserting a tablespoon into the mouth, the texture and aromas will then be deciphered by the taste buds and receptors on the tongue and combined with the odours that are trapped in the throat and nasal passage will then be deciphered by the brain into taste. Whether or not the individual enjoys the flavours is very much a personal choice.

Take what could be quite possibly the most amazing dish in the world. We won't name this dish but we'll assume for now that it contains the most wonderful of aromas, tastes, flavours and textures. Two people will try this dish, the first will take a mouthful and will be completely overwhelmed by the beauty and balance of the ingredients. And when it comes to someone else's views always listen with an open ear. Should someone decide that they hate a dish and openly criticise it pay attention and listen, more often than not you'll learn something. However don't let someone else's judgement sway your own personal taste, try the dish that they despise, perhaps you too might find it disgusting or perhaps because you're views on taste differ you might find that you've just discovered the most wonderful dish in the world.

So, I always depend on my intuition to choose restaurant to dine XD but sometimes it can be wrong, like The Spread. Actually I have high expectation from it just like The Sage but it is still consider the overall worth the price.

Somehow, now the ambiance become the 1st priority for me to choose to enjoy the meal. I'm still missing the moment having lunch at The Sage...lucky that day I'm not sitting at the sofa seat...otherwise...I might just lay at the sofa and ZZzzzz.... XD

After the lunch, we both are really fulled until lazy wanna get our butt away from the seat...

lol, earlier Chan plan to have a drink at Starbucks after lunch since I tell him it will be a good environment to have a drink at there compare to others cafe XD but now we give up

After that, just bought some papers for my incoming handcrafts :D

Here is the most basic steps to make a gift box~~
The materials include:
† Hard Cardboard
† Suitable Wrapper
† Scissor
† Long Ruler
† Double Side Tissue Tape
First, cut out the desire cardboard size. Always the base is smaller than the top cover. Example base is 5cmx5cm, the cover will be around 5.4cmx5.4cm if the cardboard is 1mm thick.

Second, prepare the wrapper. What I always do is stick the wrapper to the biggest surface of the cover/base before start to wrap the surrounding box. But do make sure leave enough space for the box itself when stick to the surface.

† The * in the picture refer to the wrapper for the inner box when wrap around the box, so don’t have to make another square to stick inside it.
This is basic way to wrap the box.

† Different kind of situation, type of paper, type of design require different way to wrap the box. Above is double layer wrapped box, so I leave some space at upper.

After done~~you can add favorite pattern as desire

So here finished the basic gift box:

† Alternative Way to Wrap †

It is look easier but in fact it doesn’t if the box is big, not flat box.
Roll the wrapper around the box and cut the wrapper along the 8 edges then fold the into the inside and outside(bottom) box. But using this technique, the corners of the box easy to expose the original without fully cover by wrapper.

I’m very like to use that thing before and I never think that it can apply at here XD with the right layer, the wrapper will be protect (water resistance)
and immediately another idea come into my stupid mind ,lol

~ Add in some glitter powder or whatever shining shining powder. Mix well and brush it on the desire surface as below.

Look closer can see the shining shining dots XD and never worry glitter powder will stick to the hand when touch it because it will not stick to hand at all =]

After finish the basic gift box, can add extra decorative item as you like, like ribbon and so many things~~

Finally, almost a week of thinking, buying, designing, drawing, cutting, gluing all the stuff and the precious materials…It finally has it own shape.

The season I make most cards ever…
Always the number is increasing when I’m making them…just for example: Sherlin’s~
The beginning always headache because really have no idea how to start…but my habit still the same, keep modify the ideas when making it. At the end, I feel like the cards’ presentation have been spoiled. :( I’m still trying the best to avoid it happen..

01- Joseph & Sherlin’s

While making Joseph’s, suddenly a couple set card come into my mind,lol. So I decide to make both of them similiar. I get the “Stairway to Heaven” inspiration from Sweden designer, it turn a simple card into special
The Shining Cross is my own idea and use some times to think how to make and present it.
For the “burned” paper, combination of 2 technics together make it really get “burn”, isn’t it? =]
The message has divided into 2 parts at each of the cards
The unsatisfy part of the card is the covers, the ori shall be simple , pure white n black in color with less decoration.

Haiz, so sad, the hotlink 365plan finally expired ... went to KLCC maxis centre to ask for the renew...and they are so lazy to help me subscribe, ask me dail *100#, subscribe it myself.... wtf betul this kind of service...
and I couldn't find the 365plan to subscribe, so I just ignore it and head on to MV.

Then go look for berries' prices again among the supermarkets, Isetan, Coldstorage, Jusco, Carrefour...the strawb price hit the climax at ColdS,KLCC ,lol....14.99/small packet, 27.99/big packet...really feel wanna shout out :Walao~! the blueb is still exp, 15.99

Very lucky, the blueb price at ColdS,The Gardens is much cheaper, RM10.99...gonna grab them later :) Don't miss while its the chance~~!Bought 2 packets XD

An outlet surely I'll go drop a visit if I reach The Gardens: Delectable by Su.
Yesterday night dropped them an email to place order but get no reply until this morning before I depart. I thought they don't have time to read it before they have time to do it~.
Surprisingly, they did marked down my order and everything is ready ^.^

Sweet cousins of our Delectable Little men! These come in 2 heartwarming flavours – Cinnamon & Sugar and Raisin & Orange. Our raisin spotted friend is highly recommended for those who love their cookies classic; buttery and just a teeny bit chewy!

I did tried the Cinnamon&Sugar now. The cookies are soft...and I found a taste inside it, guess what taste =] it's Famous Amos cookies' taste, lol... yummy~~

Will update Raisin&Orange when I try it, so stay turn to check it out if you wanna know =]

2)Delectable's Fruitcake Parcel - Price: RM15 per unit

So sad, Aida told me Jackie has no longer work here already(31st Oct is her last day work there), she have to continue her study~~

Aida also told me that Su is preparing for Christmas Hamper and it will be Not Cheap.
She told me Su plan to make something like a Christmas tree, with a ladder there, and some penguins climbing up there and decorate with some other stuffs....arg.... she also collecting money for that... I wonder the price will make me shock and ORZ XD

After that, suddenly remind me to locate location of The Spread. Last time I can't find it at the same floor at Sage. So I guess it is locate at another tower, and I'm guess it right. I found it...1st sight on it, I know I'll love the ambiance there... the environment look so nice even I just stand outside the restaurant look into it =]

Mission accomplished, wait for booking only XD

I went down from 4th floor, I saw this restaurant, Yuzu. At first, I thought it is an outlet which sell something like special local products,lol...because the logo like mandarin orange XD But then after few seconds only I realize it is a restaurant... =.="

I saw the lunch set menus are not really expensive, so I give a try for it.
Here I settle my lunch :D

The hostesses there like Malay but I'm not sure because they can speak fluent Japanese...
Order a set of Unagi sushi set lunch~ with hot ocha(taste better than Sagano's Ocha which cost me 5bucks =.=")

2 Fresh Thick Sliced Salmon Sashimi, 2 Unagi Finger Sushi, 1 California Roll, 1 Miso Soup, 1 Fried Rice, 1 Steamed Egg.
I can say it worth it price, RM18.90++

Sashimi is fresh, unagi is delicious. The california roll also taste good, double pieces seaweed they use. Miso soup, I won't forget that taste, as I serve it at Nikko Hotel before~~ the fried rice...hmm, I have to mention it. It really taste delicious!!! The steam egg is good as well :D

I like the atmosphere there...

especially that pillar, I love those pictures there. It make me feel like all the ingredients are very fresh...it look kind unique =]

I have spend about 2 hours to read through all these information, included menu, price, location and etc... only I make a decision to give a try at Sagano's Festival Menu.

As you might notice, there are 2types menu: Festival Menu n Light Festival Menu(*)

LFM(简餐) only serve the courses marked with *.

FM(全套餐) serve all courses either with or without wine as you desire.

So, if I'm going to give a try, why not take full course? =]

Usually, it take a very long time for me to make decision to buy something...but this time not, I just tell myself: If you don't know such "damn" thing, it's ok.But since you know such "damn" thing, you are not going to miss this such "damn" thing.

So that night, immediately I make a reservation by phone call placed on 31st Oct for the best timing to enjoy it :D

Day by day... time is passing by so fast.

After back from work, very quickly go to bath, prepare the things that I need~depart by 4.45pm.

By the time arrive at KLCC, the sky is cloudy, the rain is start falling~~woohoo, you know it!

Due to I gonna make some cakes by this month, berries will be my most important ingredients. I gonna make a survey of their prices and the result is too bad...they are freaking expensive by the moment...Blueb 17.99, Strawb 12.99 Black 16.99 Rasp 22.99...maybe I gonna consider about frozen berries of 1kg =="

What happen when lemon meet lime?Marry and become lemonadelime XD joking only~ but the fact I think they are parent trap a pair~!

To enjoy life, coffee is a must! Since the Davidoff coffee has been finished, decide to give a try to another brand coffee, Haco-Suiss. Although the flavor not as rich as Davidoff's but still good overall.

After that go to Kinokuniya "steal" some recipes =] gonna try out if has chance.

Continue march to my destination, Sagano~ sometimes really feel glad that I'm walk, not drive.

This is a great appetizer, first bite in the mouth, no feel.

But then follow by saltiness from the Japanese Citrus.

After that is Spicy taste of the Chili Paste!

-Sea Urchin Egg Tofu with Sea Urchin Sauce-

First time I serve Sea Urchin, awesome~The delicate sauce is delicious.

The tofu is soft n smooth!

-Foie Gras Finger Sushi with Sweet Black Pepper Sauce-

Although I'm not really wish to eat foie gras but since it is included in the meal, I have no choice

Now I know why the foie gras so delicious.

Its flavor?

The appetizers are basically light in flavor boost by the sauces

-Thin Sliced Atlantic Salmon with Mango and Wasabi Sauce-

Thin sliced salmon, not really so thin as you rolled it up.

Not to mention the salmon is absolutely fresh.

With three sauces there, I only know two of it, mango sauce and the Japanese Mayonnaise.

The black one something like seaweed, sweet in taste like mango sauce.

Awesome delicious!

But then I found some way to eat it to become even more delicious.

Serve the salmon with that green leaf.

That leaf can get at hypermarket, like Jusco or Isetan. I have forget the name of that leaf already.

When bite it, it will totally refresh your taste, like mint leaves.

-Paper-wrapped Sea Bream with Two Varieties of Seafood Sauce-

Taste spicy and salty. The meat is great~

-Grilled Marinated Wagyu Beef with Vegetables-

I don't serve beef because I feel "hard" to bite,haha

But this wagyu beef, changed my view.

The fat of the beef, instantly melt in your mouth...aww...*I thought it is hard to bite like others*

The meat, is superior godly tender!

The fried vege nice to serve as well with the mushroom sauce on the warm plate

Thumb up for this main course!!!

-Deep-Fried King Prawn with Butter Cream Sauce-

This meal is as great as Sage's

Absolutely tasty, delicacy serve with the Very Rich butter cream sauce!!!

btw, I really like this kind of "king crown" plate XD

-Hokkaido Scallop and Shimeji Mushroom Rice in Japanese Pot with Cream-

This rice taste great. I love scallop!

Not really how to describe this, but really so nice!

† Dessert †

-Black Sesame Panna Cotta and Mango Sorbet-

This dessert is one of the best course among this meal,LOL

This is likely like Italian dessert, the gelatin dessert,panna cotta.

Creamy as its taste.

The best part of this dessert, eat the strawberry with a bite of mango sorbet.

I tell you:

It is damn freaking super delectable!!!

The sweetness of sorbet, the sourness of strawberry

Instantly blend together in your mouth,

make your tongue dancing(do you listen to New Zealand Natural Ice Cream's Ad at Radio before? XD)

The sorbet is awesomely smooth in texture, you see, I scratch it with a spoon, you won't see any liquid or any part falling down at the edge!

Know why I don't like the ambiance?

This is the ambiance at earlier before more and more diners coming.

It look quite good but look messy when the diners keep walk in walk out the "kitchen"(right side that room) to take food...it make the place crowd and like pasar.

Music, is really a cool "invention", a great "discovery" by human being.

A bunch of alphabets make up those single words.

From those single words make up a lyric.

From a lyric, add in those melody and rhythm...

Compose a song? Not yet...

It shall sing nor perform by certain people, we called them, artist.

The right artist sing the right song only can bring out the feel, the feel that you can feel it. *Yay, you will have such thought: Only the song can touch your heart when they sing it, no others singer or artist, is/are she/he/them!*

That's what I believe to =]

How a song consider good/great for me? Well, everyone has their way to find it out or define it~

For me, it is simple. Not the climax of the song but the beginning.
Usually if the beginning part is good, it will be greater until the end of the song..the end of the song~

So, first impression of the song, the beginning part, always how it show either I love the song or not. Rubbish bin there is when the song make me bore since it start playing for 1 mins XD

Loving the northern Europe's bands. I said it, bands. Well, more than 80% of their songs play by bands, Hammerfall, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Saltatio Mortis, etc. Their genre is totally difference from Asian's. They are POWERFUL, HEAVY, DEATHLY, TRASH, GOTHIC metals and others...so do they have some "soft" genre~ Folk, Celtic and etc. All my favorites, haha!

The first song, the 1st song lead me to them, Sleeping Sun by Nightwish.

It might really a fate when I found this song coincidentally.
If no mistaken, that year I was form 2 secondary school. During the school holiday, I worked at XES APPEAL as part time at Low Yat Plaza.
One day night, I went to Tower Record at Lot 10 after work. I looked through all the assorted CD,VCD, DVD...bla bla bla at the shelves and raks there.

I found this CD, "The CELTIC CIRCLE"

I still remembered what the first sentence in my mind that moment I found and stared on it:" Oh yea, this CD, it has been advertised at TV before. Finally I found you!"

Without hesitation, I bought it immediately.

Since that day, everyday I came back from work, I'm surely listened to it before I sleep. Also that moment, I loved that song, Sleeping Sun. That moment, I don't have my own computer yet. So not even bother to find out more about the band, Nightwish.

After I got my own computer few years later, I'm starting to search it, everything about them. That year, I'm seem like having drug already as my friends, Joseph, Weiko, Chan and etc think in that way.

Just because I fall in love with Nightwish made them think so? And also maybe that moment, my personalities are damn "grey", desperate, down and low, upset? LOL...and they linked it together, came out this conclusion? XD

Few days ago, chatted with Chan at MSN talking about Nightwish. Oh yea, you see...he used to be same gang with Jospeh them before and now he changed~ like me, like Nightwish's song. The reason is simple I think: they ROCK.

Also I told him a fun thing:jv said one sentence that still can make me laugh now when thinking back of it.

Of course, that moment we still very young, even now, we still young...not everything we can take it serious~ That is the fun thing of memories, when you thinking back of it...recall it...sometime you really love it~

I'm 100% sure he said it and I still can remember where it is take place: Dedikasi, 2nd floor, at the block beside the basketball court. The class beside our class is Dinamik.
That moment, we whole gang loved to sit at the back of the class until we graduated also the same,lol.

But I think this is very common reaction when someone or something you love or like get insulted. Therefore, I also rarely speak it out in front of others even I dislike something or someone. I "scare" consequences =]

From them, I had started to exploring the music of Northern Europe...I'm glad that I found many favorite songs there.

Last time PL asked me, so far which restaurant is the best for me but I haven't answer yet. Now, Sage is the best for me... so far. There are still many restaurants in this world waiting for me to discover XD

Through FB, I found the existence of this great restaurant, Sage@Restaurant & Wine Bar locate at The Residences Level 6, The Gardens.

After did some survey about this restaurant, I decide to pay a visit by Today(Suppose not today).

Reached 6th floor, looking out to the sky through the windows there, only now I realize the sky is raining, very heavily. Boost my mood immediately XD

The atmosphere is casual and relaxed but still classy... very comfortable, maybe not much peoples there =]

Sage's Menu

The menu is simple(Usually fix menu that changes on a daily or weekly basis). It told me that the food quality and freshness is absolutely guarantee.

Erm...don't know how to describe, long time I don't have study English edi,lol.

Make it simple, the fine dining is about three factors: the Menu, the Service and the Atmosphere.
Sage is one of the Great Restaurant for Fine Dining, they can fulfill your desires.

The Discover, Lunch Set Menu the three course set menu. As I read through the survey, foie gras is one of the meal but too bad it is not suitable for me XD I don't like beef either XD

There are complimentary breads, Rosemary Baguette and Dye Bread with Sunflower Seed and Sesame, dip with pesto(herb sauce, haha, I made this before~) The breads is soft, crusty and warm, of course delicious =]

Mocktail garnish with Coarsely Chopped Fresh Mints Leaves

The beverage(mocktail) is very refreshing! With coarsely chopped mint leaves!

The first bite already wake up my taste immediately! Since yesterday morning until today afternoon before I have my lunch, I have only feed my stomach with 1 fish fillet buns, 2 cups coffee, 1 hazelnut white coffee, blueberry filling with thick toast, 1 soya drink, 5 strawberry flavored cream wafer sticks.That's all,lol.

The sauce is great in flavor. The prawn and scallop not fishy at all and very fresh!

lol, when look at it, I seem see a boat floating at the sea~slowly toward my mouth XD
My knife set on the skin, it is totally out of my expectation, the skin is very very very crispy! I forget to mention that I can smell it from the distance. Crispy as piglet which we Chinese usually serve at wedding dinner, the crispy skin of the piglet. The garoupa is good, it remind the lousy salmon fishes at TGI,lol...no moisture at all...DRY...

The wine reduction sauce taste great..awesome.

A light flavor dessert. The sweetness and sour taste blended together and melted in the mouth...ah...suddenly feel so wonderful... for having such lunch at such comfortable and nice atmosphere...thinking to resign by tomorrow,lol..haha

The temperature there is really really very cold due to outside raining also...my body also start to beh tahan, shaking,lol. I think the waiter notices it, then he asks me either want coffee or tea XD No doubt, coffee =]

Hmm... first of all, you have to used to it, my grammar, lol. It is terrible unless talk about foodies =] I'm too lazy to type in Chi...

Our first gathering after 8 years... some meet someone from time to time but can't recognize each others XD Of course some can recognize also~

Hean Wei and me reach there around 7.10+pm, we think we are the earliest but we are wrong,lol.

Shu Fang, Jason and Sing Hwa come later... and we are waiting for the others inside the res while chit chatting for almost one hour.

But then when Sherry Lee come, we see Yinnhaw beside her also... and he has sitting outside the res since before hean wei n me come =.=" swt...

and still chit chatting...while waiting...

haha, the topic actually not suits me XD one of my friend told me before: she don't like attend the primary school's gathering because all of her friends are studying, except her, working.

so the fact is the topic is really not match XD usually the question I hear is: Where are you studying now? What course you take? lol...very common questions~~ So I always act like recorder XD

So at the beginning, I focus on the res. It is really make me disappointed, for me, Tsim Tung doesn't has the qualify to become a res. It is because they don't have provide complimentary sky juice. Ok, of you still think this is acceptable but how can a res don't have sell mineral water in glass but only bottle? =] Even mamak stall can provide complimentary water!

I go to toilet three times, 2 times for survey XD I like to explore res or cafe~

The most talkative award goes to Joanne Lee lo, for sure XD I think no one object it, haha follow by Hean Wei and Rax Hoh.

The most quiet one: Guo Dong XD I thought is me but he beats me XD

The gathering basically divide into 2 groups,lol one is very talkative, one is very quiet XD

Shu Fang, don't say I'm solemn...actually I don't know how to smile "naturally", haha...

The females, all become leng lui liao ^.^ 女大十八变啊~!

The males, ok, can skip it,lol

Next gathering will coming soon by Nov~~Hope more 6J fellas and fellows join >.<

In the past, I have only celebrate Chinese New Year, the only festival I celebrate for every year. Birthday? Nope, I'm not really celebrate it either XD

When come to secondary school's life, I have celebrate another festival, Christmas. Hmm..not really consider it as celebration but I like it =]

And now this year~! I have "celebrate" Hari Raya Aidilfitri as well,hohoho. Totally unexpected.

It is all Andy's "fault"~! LOL

The timing is absolutely good, after pick up , the sky start raining. Yea, I know, it feel happy for me XD haha.

After signed the receipt for the gift basket, when on the way going back home, suddenly one question pop up in my mind: How do they know my full name which write on the envelope there? 0.o I just keep thinking and thinking...thinking when I have give them my full name,lol

Arg...really headache thinking about this question...Finally when almost reach home...it recall my memory, I have leave my name n hp no. to them b4,lol...phew...finally solve this stupid question... then yesterday another question pop up in my mind again: Why I don't feel curious or weird at all when I make the payment on Monday ,see my full name write in the reservation list at the shop there as I forget I have give them my name earlier? >.< lol

haha, forget about it...but the gift basket is quire "heavy"... my hand just feel tire when taking it from the outlet to the MV South Entrance there. The Raya Gift Basket weight is about 2kg...

Well, among all these delectable goodies, I love the roasted cashews the most!

Compare it with 7 Sins of Chocolate, you will lose your control once you start eating it.
Usually will very full after eat 7 Sins, therefore I always eat it slowly slowly slowly...
But for this, I can finish it very soon,lol...can't resist it...
It taste sweet and salty, crunchy when u bite it!
How I eat it?Take a cashew with some flake of sea salt...hold in the mouth for awhile...aw...sweet n salty taste like enjoying candy. The sea salt unlike normal salt, it give you different taste, and won't make you feel really salty at all. Then bite the cashew~

This is a "Must Try" goodies of Delectable other than 7 Sins of Chocolate...at least I think so. It sure one of the best snack for me =] That's why I buy another bottle,lol

Lemon n Cracked Pepper cookies, improved product. These cookies can long last few days for me, opposite with cashew. Due to it salty taste, you will not serve it like non stop, because the more you eat, you will feel really salty,lol. So it is long last snack...one bite at one time XD with hints of lemon flavor follow by black pepper :)
